Coupang Fulfillment Service announced on the 31st that it served samgyetang to employees at the Coupang Pyeongtaek 1 and 2 centers on the 30th.
This event was held to promote the health of employees who are maintaining logistics operations even during the sweltering heat and to support them in overcoming the heat.
Ryan Brown and Jeong Jong-cheol, the CEOs, directly participated in the serving.
Coupang Fulfillment Service planned to ensure that various nutritious foods, such as samgyetang, samgyeguk (chicken porridge), bossam (boiled pork belly), and braised short ribs, as well as summer desserts, were provided not only at the Pyeongtaek 1 and 2 centers but also at fulfillment centers nationwide.
Additionally, Coupang Fulfillment Service has designated June to September as a special management period for the heatwave and is implementing various support measures, including providing ice water and installing large cooling equipment, to help employees cope with the heat.
