The ice cream brand Baskin-Robbins of SPC Group announced on the 30th that it has unveiled the flavor of the month for August, "Blue Banana Brûlée," in collaboration with the globally popular character "Smurfs."
According to Baskin-Robbins, the unveiling event for the new ice cream product, called an untap show, was held on the 25th at Workshop by Baskin-Robbins, themed around "Smurfs' Village." A teaser video for the upcoming film "The Smurfs Movie", set to release on the 6th, was screened at the venue.
The flavor of the month revealed on that day is Blue Banana Brûlée. This flavor, released in line with the movie's debut, features a combination of blue banana ice cream and custard ice cream.
During the untap show, a special prize was awarded to the customer who wrote the most creative name on their name tag among those who created their own Smurf-style names. The best-dressed customer, dressed in blue attire symbolizing the Smurfs, was selected as the "Fashion Smurf" and received an exchange voucher for Baskin-Robbins products and a movie reservation ticket.
A photo zone themed around the Smurfs is also being operated. An AI (artificial intelligence) filter photo booth, where customers can take transformed photos as Smurf characters, has been set up, along with a photo zone inspired by Smurf standees and mushroom houses, which will be available until the 9th.
A representative from Baskin-Robbins said, "We provided customers with a unique experience themed around the "Smurfs' Village," which brings the world of the Smurfs to life." They added, "We ask for your interest in our new products, including the flavor of the month for August, "Blue Banana Brûlée."
