OURHOME announced on the 28th that it will launch 'MEGABOBS' in collaboration with multiplex Mega Box. MEGABOBS is a brand of ready-to-eat meals exclusively developed for theaters, embodying the ambition of both companies to present a new paradigm for movie theater dining culture.
MEGABOBS is planned based on the popular products of OURHOME's frozen meal brand, ONTHEGO. Set menus will also be operated, including a drink set and popcorn set that add carbonated drinks and popcorn to two main menu items. It is scheduled to be first unveiled at the Mega Box COEX and Kintex locations starting today.
The main menu includes 'ONTHEGO Whole Mozza Rose Tteokbokki with Pasta' and 'ONTHEGO Juicy Mini Hamburger & Rosé Pasta.' ONTHEGO Whole Mozza Rose Tteokbokki with Pasta is characterized by the combination of tteok, pasta noodles topped with rose sauce, and whole mozzarella cheese, while ONTHEGO Juicy Mini Hamburger & Rosé Pasta features the harmony of juice from the hamburger steak and the soft rosé pasta.
The two companies plan to enhance the audience's experience by moving away from the existing snack-oriented dining culture, such as popcorn, and adding the value of a delicious meal to the enjoyment of watching movies. An official from OURHOME noted, 'MEGABOBS is a brand that proposes a new movie theater dining experience where you can enjoy a proper meal while watching a movie,' and added, 'We plan to continue to focus on developing content that can satisfy diverse customer preferences.'
