Temu announced on the 28th that it has joined the International Trademark Association (INTA) as a corporate member and will participate in the association's "Counterfeiting Prevention Commissioner". INTA is an association that conducts various collaborations and policy activities for the protection of intellectual property rights. It has participation from 181 countries around the world.
Temu attended a meeting hosted by the Counterfeiting Prevention Commissioner at the INTA annual meeting held in San Diego, California, in May. At this meeting, discussions were held with brand owners, government officials, and online platform representatives on ▲ the introduction of new technologies ▲ collaboration cases ▲ global counterfeiting prevention strategies.
Temu is also participating in the "Online Platform Notice and Takedown Certification Program" led by INTA. This program is an educational workshop that shares optimal response procedures and best practices to efficiently detect and remove counterfeit goods on e-commerce and social media platforms.
A Temu official noted, "Participation in INTA and activities in the Counterfeiting Prevention Commissioner is evidence that Temu is continuously working to create a safe and trusted online shopping environment," and added, "We will make a substantial contribution to the protection of intellectual property rights through collaboration with industry and various stakeholders."
