FG Korea, which operates the premium handmade burger brand Five Guys, announced on the 25th that it will open its 8th store in Korea in Yongsan, Seoul.
Five Guys is a premium handmade burger brand brought to Korea by Kim Dong-sun, the third son of Kim Seung-yeon, chairman of Hanwha Group, and the vice president in charge of Hanwha Galleria Future. FG Korea, which operates Five Guys, is a 100% subsidiary of Hanwha Galleria.
The newly opened store on the 3rd floor of Yongsan I-Park Mall has a total area of 413.1 square meters (about 125 pyeong) and can accommodate 118 customers simultaneously. The operating hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The new store will be located within the Food & Beverage living zone 'Dopamine Station' in I-Park Mall, which has recently completed renovations this month. With a total area of 6,500 square meters (about 2,000 pyeong), it has been designed to target the MZ generation (born from the late 1980s to the early 2000s). Over 40 trendy food and beverage brands will open. Five Guys plans to provide a new culinary experience along with these brands.
Additionally, Five Guys will hold a capsule lottery event for customers making purchases to celebrate the opening. Various gifts will be provided, including Five Guys gift cards worth up to 300,000 won, Five Guys pouches, and pictures from Life's Four Cuts.
An FG Korea official noted, 'The Yongsan store has an excellent location in terms of transportation accessibility and pedestrian traffic, and we expect to expand new customer touchpoints.' He added, 'We plan to continue expanding our stores to showcase the brand in various regions.'
Meanwhile, FG Korea will also provide a coupon for a soft drink for customers who purchase more than 10,000 won with a Galleria card at either the Five Guys Galleria Luxury Hall or Gwanggyo store until the 31st. The same event will be held from the 1st to the 21st of next month.
Customers can participate up to 2 times, once each during the promotion. Coupons can be obtained through the Galleria Department Store application. The coupon can be used at 7 nationwide stores excluding Five Guys Yongsan.
