Emart announced on the 17th that it will hold a major agricultural product discount event in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
Starting today, Emart will cooperate with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for about three weeks to hold a discount support event for agricultural and livestock products called 'Nonghal.' The items will change weekly to showcase seasonal summer agricultural products and those whose prices have recently increased at discounted rates. When earning Shinsegae points, an additional 20% support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs will be applied to Emart's own 20% discounted price, making it 36% cheaper compared to the regular price.
For the first week of the event, Emart has selected eight items: peaches, Campbell grapes, tomatoes, radishes, napa cabbage, cucumbers, onions, and chives from today until the 24th, for eight days. The three types of peaches, which are representative seasonal fruits of summer—'soft peaches (4-6 pieces per pack),' 'sweet yellow peaches (4-6 pieces per pack),' and 'crunchy peaches (4-6 pieces per pack)'—will be sold at a discounted price of 7,936 won, down from the regular price of 12,400 won when earning Shinsegae points. The 'Campbell grapes (1 kg per pack)' will be available for 12,147 won, and 'cherry tomatoes (1 kg per pack)' can be purchased for 5,747 won when earning Shinsegae points.
For 'trimmed napa cabbage,' it will be available for 3,827 won, a 36% discount when earning Shinsegae points, while 'radishes' will be prepared for 2,099 won each. The 'white cucumbers (5 pieces per bag)' are priced at 3,187 won. Additionally, essential cooking vegetables such as 'onions (1.8 kg net)' and 'chives (500 g pack)' will be sold at 2,547 won and 1,587 won, respectively.
