Genesis BBQ Group, which operates the chicken franchise BBQ, announced on Nov. 11 that 10,000 tickets for the FC Barcelona live event in Seoul (5,000 winners, 2 tickets per person) were awarded by midnight on the 110th day since the launch of the 'Golden Ticket Festa' a month ago.
According to BBQ, participation in the Golden Ticket Festa event through the company's app surpassed 1 million times, including duplicate participants. The number of winners for the company's app Golden Ticket reached 4,572.
The number of winners for the Golden Ticket Festa started with 21 on the first day. It increased to an average of 150 per day after a month, and especially since July, customer participation has steadily grown, pushing the daily average of winners to over 250.
Including the Top 20 winners over four rounds and the scratch-off ticket winners, it has been recorded that more than 5,000 winners have emerged to date. With two tickets given to each winner, it means that the owners of over 10,000 FC Barcelona live event tickets in Seoul have been determined.
The Golden Ticket Festa event began on Oct. 11 and will run for 45 days until the 25th. Especially, for every chicken purchased through the BBQ app, one entry ticket is automatically granted. In addition to the company's app, promotional tickets are also being given to customers who order through delivery apps and takeout.
