A survey results indicate that the "product comparison information" provided by the Korea Consumer Agency (KCA) has a significant influence on consumers' actual product choices and purchasing decisions.
The Korea Consumer Agency (KCA) announced on the 9th that in an online survey conducted in May with 1,000 consumers, 871 respondents (87.1% of all) answered this way.
The item with the highest influence on purchasing and selection according to comparison information was cited as "dehumidifiers (93.8%)." The agency summarized the purchasing and selection guide into one page, with 80.5% of consumers (805 respondents) evaluating the guide's information as helpful for making product purchases and selections.
Among the consumers who responded to the online survey, 86.7% (867 respondents) showed a willingness to purchase eco-friendly products, and among them, 91.8% (796 respondents) evaluated that consumer environmental verification and assessment information would aid in their product purchasing and selection.
The agency stated, "We are promoting the production of consumer empathy-based information to enhance the provision of comparison information that meets consumer demand for information," adding, "We plan to provide various digital content related to product comparison information for consumers to easily access and utilize."
