Convenience store Seven Eleven announced on the 6th that it will collaborate with Major League Baseball (MLB) superstar Lee Jung-hoo to sequentially release 20 new products by next month.
According to Seven Eleven on that day, three ready-to-eat products, 'Lee Jung-hoo fork barbecue platter lunch box,' 'Lee Jung-hoo hamburger steak gimbap,' and 'Lee Jung-hoo double classic burger,' will be available on the 9th. Products to be launched later this month include six items such as protein bars and bread featuring Lee Jung-hoo as a model, along with refrigerated snacks like pizza and tteokbokki.
Next month, Seven Eleven will also release 11 collaborative products, including ready-to-eat meals and beer. Each product in the collaboration with Lee Jung-hoo includes a random seal from a total of 51. After purchasing collaborative products and accumulating L.Points through the mobile app, donations will be collected to support youth baseball players.
Jo Soo-kyung, head of the product division at Seven Eleven, noted, 'We collaborated with Lee Jung-hoo on various categories with a theme of local American recipes and health,' adding, 'This unique product is expected to receive a good response alongside the popularity of baseball.'
