Nongshim announced on the 27th that it will release a collaboration product applying the character "Winnie the Pooh" to its snack "Honey Twist" in partnership with the Walt Disney Company Korea. It plans to sell around 400,000 boxes in limited quantities starting in July.
Nongshim has set the theme for this product as "Lift your mood." The product package design includes various characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger, all of whom love honey.
Nongshim also plans to operate events using various goods, including honey jar-shaped props and stickers. In particular, customers who upload 인증 photos to social media after purchasing the product will have a chance to win tickets to Tokyo Disneyland through a lottery.
Meanwhile, Nongshim continues its social contribution activities through Honey Twist. In May, it collaborated with a major domestic game company to sell a Honey Twist set utilizing game character intellectual property (IP) on its official store, "Nongshim Mall." The revenue generated from sales was used to donate Nongshim snack sets to about 2,000 children at local child centers.
Nongshim is working to provide practical help to beekeeping farms, as it purchases about 160 tons of domestic acacia honey each year for the production of Honey Twist. Since 2022, it has signed a business agreement with the National Agricultural Research Center and the Korea Beekeeping Association to support stable agricultural activities for beekeeping farms by providing nurturing subsidies.
