MUSINSA stated that the total monthly transaction amount of 'MUSINSA Store Seongsu @ Daerim Warehouse,' which operates in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, was approximately 3.2 billion won last month.
The store is MUSINSA's third offline editing shop following openings in Daegu's Dongseongro and Hongdae last year, showcasing carefully selected K-fashion, beauty, and sports brands. This is the first time that the monthly transaction amount has surpassed 3 billion won since its opening.
A representative from MUSINSA noted that Seongsu @ Daerim Warehouse is gaining attention as a must-visit place for foreign tourists visiting Korea to experience K-fashion brands.
In the cumulative transaction amount from January to May this year, foreign customers accounted for 52%, over half. In March, this figure soared to 67%.
Looking at customers by age group, those in the 10 to 20 age range made up the majority at 71%. When including customers up to their 30s, 88 out of every 100 visitors fell into the 10 to 30 age range.
Last month, MUSINSA consecutively planned large events such as 'K League x Sanrio Characters' collaboration, Jeong Saem Mool Beauty 'Art School', and TOMORROW X TOGETHER character Ppobatu 'Finding Moa'. The number of customers who visited these pop-up stores exceeded 150,000.
A MUSINSA official said, "It is encouraging to achieve an average daily transaction amount of 100 million won in Seongsu-dong, known as the forefront of trends," adding, "We plan to continue expanding the MUSINSA Store as a leading K-fashion editing shop where customers can meet the most popular brands in Korea."
