GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 12th that it has joined Naver's new quick commerce service 'Now Delivery' starting from the 11th.
Naver's 'Now Delivery' is a quick commerce service aiming for delivery within one hour from stores located within a 1.5 km radius of the user. With this entrance, GS25 will quickly deliver about 5,000 kinds of products to consumers through the Naver Plus Store app and web.
In the early stages of operation, the service will start at over 1,000 GS25 stores nationwide and will be rapidly expanded to all stores. The Now Delivery service allows for easy ordering of products through delivery or pickup methods. A variety of products will be provided, ranging from food and beverages, such as lunch boxes, drinks, and snacks, to household items, operated with the same category structure as GS Retail's existing quick commerce platform 'Our Neighborhood GS'.
Jin-hyeok Jeon, head of GS Retail's O4O institutional sector, noted that "this partnership with Naver's Now Delivery is a strategic move to provide GS25 products, which customers frequently seek, more quickly and conveniently," and added, "In the future, GS25 will also expand digital commerce touchpoints and strengthen customer-tailored O4O (Online for offline) services to set new standards for convenience store quick commerce."
