On the 2nd, KG F&B, which operates the coffee franchise brand HOLLYS and the meat processing brand MEASO, announced that it has appointed the new CEO, Yoon Seok-chan.
According to KG F&B, CEO Yoon Seok-chan is a management consulting expert who has worked at SK Teletech, Monitor Group, and T-Plus Consulting, and served as a partner at EY Han Young's strategy consulting organization EY-Parthenon. He has built management expertise while in charge of strategic consulting for various food manufacturing and ingredient brands such as Daesang, Pulmuone, and Maeil Dairies, focusing on establishing mid- to long-term growth models and business strategies.
CEO Yoon joined KG F&B as COO (Chief Operating Officer) earlier this year and has been working on establishing future operational strategies for each brand owned by KG F&B. Moving forward, he plans to focus on the stabilization of the company and the post-merger integration (PMI) efforts, following former CEO Lee Jong-hyun, who was dedicated to the changes and growth of KG F&B as it evolved into a comprehensive food enterprise.
CEO Yoon said, "Through last year's merger, KG F&B has enhanced its competitiveness and expanded its infrastructure, standing on the brink of a leap as a comprehensive food company," adding, "While leveraging the strengths of each KG F&B brand, I will do my best to create new changes and synergies among brands to establish new growth engines for KG F&B."
Meanwhile, KG F&B was established as a comprehensive food company last year through the absorption merger of KG HOLLYS F&B and its subsidiary KG Fresh. Currently, KG F&B operates and holds other brands including the coffee franchise brand HOLLYS and the meat processing brand MEASO, as well as HANDWERKER and a jerky workshop.
