Binggrae announced on the 8th that it will increase the prices of its fermented milk products, including Yogurt and Dr. Capsule.
The price increase details indicate that based on the ex-factory prices, the price of Yogurt Original Multi (4-pack) will rise by 5.3%, while Dr. Capsule will increase by 4.0%. The price hike will be implemented gradually starting from the end of May, after discussions with distribution channels. Accordingly, the retail price of Yogurt Original Multi (4-pack) is expected to increase from 3,780 won to 3,980 won.
Binggrae explained, "The prices of key raw materials for the products subject to this price increase have been continuously rising, increasing the burden," and noted, "Additionally, the situation is exacerbated by rising expenses due to increases in labor and energy costs."
