SPC Samlip announced that the officially licensed product 'KBO Bread' has surpassed cumulative sales of 10 million units as of the 30th.
According to SPC Samlip on that day, the 10 million unit sales were achieved in just 41 days since its launch on March 20, marking the fastest period in company history for a released product.
KBO Bread has garnered intense interest not only from baseball fans but also from various age groups. The phenomenon of 'open-run' where people line up to purchase KBO Bread at store opening hours, the certification of players' draft lineup, and the exchange of desired players' stickers at baseball games are part of the expanding culture and meme content related to KBO Bread.
With the popularity of KBO Bread, Samlip plans to launch a new concept product called 'Everyone's KBO Bread' on May 8. It will be released in a concept that anyone can enjoy, transcending individual teams, in celebration of the family month.
The new product will randomly include 180 types of stickers made with each team's uniform graphics and 26 types of stickers designed with national team uniform designs.
An official from SPC Samlip said, "We prepared new products and stickers to repay our customers' support," and noted, "We hope to expand fun and experiences with a more diverse composition."
