A premium distilled liquor 'Tamna Goryangju,' combining Jeju's clear water and traditional manufacturing methods, has been newly launched.
On the 29th, Jeju New World collaborated with the domestic distilled liquor manufacturer 'Korea Goryangju' to create Tamna Goryangju. Jeju New World explained that it used Jeju Samdasoo to achieve a smooth and clean taste. While based on traditional distilled liquor brewing methods, it also added a modern touch.
Tamna Goryangju won the grand award in the traditional liquor and distilled liquor sector at the 2025 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards. It received high marks for aroma, taste, and completeness through a blind test conducted by expert judges.
A representative from Jeju New World noted, 'Tamna Goryangju is a premium distilled liquor imbued with the nature and traditions of Jeju,' and added, 'We will do our best to ensure it is recognized for its value in domestic and international markets as a representative liquor of Jeju.'
