Dongwon F&B announced on the 28th that its new product "Latte made with Denmark lactose-free milk" has surpassed cumulative sales of 3 million units within two months of its launch.
"Latte made with Denmark lactose-free milk" is part of the coffee lineup from the "Denmark lactose-free milk" series, which Dongwon F&B launched in 2021. As more people began looking for lactose-free products they can enjoy without worrying about stomach aches, the company planned two latte variations (caffè latte and vanilla latte) that blend milk and coffee.
The product is made using a low-temperature enzyme treatment method that completely removes lactose. It maintains the unique nutty flavor of milk by using 1st-grade domestically produced raw milk.
Dongwon F&B plans to expand its product line to include fermented milk and other items, including lattes made with lactose-free milk. A Dongwon F&B official noted, "Latte made with Denmark lactose-free milk is gaining great popularity in convenience stores due to its taste, convenience, and functional lactose-free quality," adding, "Based on differentiated dairy processing technology, we will continue to introduce various products that meet consumer needs."
