The premium living exhibition '2025 The Maison' will be held alongside 'Design Salon Seoul 2025' (hereafter, Design Salon Seoul), sharing trends and insights related to space, on May 8-9 at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
This year, 'Design Salon Seoul' will focus on the theme 'In an era of uncertainty, retail space design strategies for brand success and building fandom,' examining the latest trends and innovative cases in retail space design with 12 experts.
On the first day, a lecture will be held on building strategies for success as a brand in an era of uncertainty. Kwon Jeong-yun, a research fellow at the Consumer Trend Analysis Center of Seoul National University, will discuss 'The Real Trends of Korean Women in Their 30s,' focusing on trends that attract the attention of 30-something female consumers leading Korean consumption trends.
Following that, Lee Jeong-min, CEO of Trend Lab 506, will give a lecture on 'Finding Retail Direction in an Era of Uncertainty,' while Kwon Oh-jeong, CEO of NoFake Marketing, will emphasize the importance of strategic planning under the title 'In an Era of Marketing Overheating, the Power of Creative Strategic Planning.'
On the second day, solutions will be explored for consolidation between consumers and brands. Lim Dae-seon, CEO of Eastern Edition, will discuss 'Eastern Edition's Approach to Delivering Korean Aesthetics to the World,' while Kim Jong-yu, director of design studio YouLab, and Kim Hyun-jin will give a lecture titled 'Blending the Boundaries: Connecting Space and Thought.'
Then, Seong Hye-jin, chief brand officer (CBO) of Hittea, the operator of Super Matcha, will share insights and experiences on building brand fandom, and Jo Hong-rae, CEO of Beam Interactive, will present the possibilities and vision of digital art in the spatial design market. Additionally, lectures by Kim Yong-cheol, CEO of Studio Kim Living Room, and Oh Hyun-joo and Lee Beom-soo from Anmadang The Lab will also be scheduled.
