Gmarket announced on the 27th that it has introduced a 'one-click payment system' to its easy payment service, Smile Pay.
One-click payment is a feature that allows individual members using Smile Pay to make purchases on Gmarket or the Auction mobile application without entering a password or biometric authentication. Customers can freely select this option through the settings in the Gmarket app. If set up through the Gmarket app, one-click payment is also available on Auction.
With the increased convenience, security has also been strengthened. The fraudulent transaction detection system (FDS) operates only if safe transactions are verified through real-time monitoring.
A Gmarket official said, 'With the introduction of one-click payment, it has become possible to purchase products more quickly and conveniently on Gmarket and Auction.'
