Doosan Bears fans are affectionately referred to as 'Meoksan' (meaning 'good-eating Doosan') due to various precedents of selling out stadium food such as bread, milk tea, and chicken jerky, even on days when the seats are not fully booked.

Earlier, CU introduced the collaboration product 'Yonsei Meoksan Cream Bread' with Doosan Bears on the 18th of last month, which quickly became the most popular search term on CU's own commerce app, Pocket CU, from the very first day. The Meoksan cream bread sold around 100,000 units in just five days, making it the top-selling dessert product for CU. As of the 13th of this month, cumulative sales reached 450,000 units.

Lee Eung-gwan, strategic MD team leader at BGF Retail, noted, 'Having confirmed the popularity of Meoksan cream bread, we have prepared a variety of supporting snacks for the good-eating Doosan Bears fans,' adding, 'We will continue to plan products and marketing that can deliver fun and unique experiences in sports.'
