The tequila "Hacienda de Tequila Blanco" from the liquor import corporation YNK Associates received the grand award in the white tequila category at the 2025 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
Hacienda de Tequila Blanco is a premium tequila made from 100% hand-selected blue agave from the Jalisco region of Mexico, characterized by its smooth finish and harmonious citrus flavor from the blue agave.
Hacienda de Tequila participated as a sponsor at the welcome reception and B2B transaction network party during the 2024 International Game Exhibition G-Star, and received a silver award at the 2023 United States Bartender Spirits Awards, along with a gold award at the 2024 Monde Selection. With this Korea Wine & Spirits Awards acceptance, it has solidified its position in the domestic premium tequila market.
Meanwhile, the Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is a representative liquor tasting event in South Korea now in its 12th year. Hosted annually by ChosunBiz since 2014, its goal is to "discover and widely promote good domestic alcohol while supporting the formation of a healthy liquor culture."
This year's event featured 236 companies showcasing a total of 1,008 brands. It is the largest scale among domestic liquor tastings that deal with comprehensive liquors. Of these, 431 brands received the grand award.
