Wine Labs' distilled wines 'D'STILL' won the grand award at the 2025 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.
The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is the representative alcohol evaluation event of South Korea, now in its 12th year. ChosunBiz has been hosting it annually since 2014 with the goal of discovering and widely promoting good domestic liquor while supporting the formation of a healthy drinking culture.
This year's event featured 236 companies showcasing a total of 1,008 brands, making it the largest liquor evaluation event in South Korea covering various types of alcohol. Among them, 431 brands received the grand award.
Wine Labs' grape distilled spirit 'D'STILL Grape' and oak-aged brandy 'D'STILL Oak Premium' won the grand award in the institutional sector.
D'STILL Grape is refined through bamboo charcoal using 100% red wine distillate of the MBA (Muscat Baillcy A) variety without any additives. It is evaluated as a Korean-style oud beverage with a smooth taste and rich, deep grape aroma. It has won the grand award for two consecutive years, following 2024.
D'STILL Oak Premium is a charming brandy product that undergoes three distillations under reduced and atmospheric pressure using natural wine fermented without added yeast, and is aged for over three years in oak barrels and steel tanks. It has a smooth and rich vanilla aroma.
Kwon Gi-jun, managing director of Wine Labs, noted, 'It is very meaningful that both of the D'STILL products, which are Wine Labs' signature brand, won the grand award. I hope this award serves as an opportunity for differentiated products using local agricultural products to emerge as representative distilled spirits of South Korea.'
