The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is Korea's representative liquor evaluation event, now in its 12th year. Since 2014, ChosunBiz has hosted the event annually with the goal of 'discovering good domestic liquors and widely promoting them, while supporting the formation of a healthy liquor culture.'

This year's event featured 236 companies submitting a total of 1,008 brands, making it the largest domestic evaluation of comprehensive liquors. Of these, 431 brands received the grand award.

Isibo Makgeolli Original is a pure liquor with an alcohol content of 12%, characterized by the sweet grape aroma reminiscent of Shine Muscat. Its clean taste pairs well with greasy foods, especially complementing pork belly or boiled meat.

Isibo Brewery enhances product quality by participating in the entire process from ingredient selection to production, growing and milling Jeju rice directly to make liquor. Located in Seogwipo, Jeju, the brewery modernly reinterprets Jeju’s traditional liquor to produce local specialties. The name Isibo means 25 degrees, the ideal temperature for the best fermentation, and the logo symbolically represents Jeju using the Hangul consonants ‘ㅇ’, ‘ㅅ’, and ‘ㅂ’.
