The wine importer JDI’s imported and distributed Italian wine ‘Gavi del Comune di Gavi DOCG’ received the grand award in the white wine category at the 2025 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards.

The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is the 12th edition of Korea's representative liquor competition this year. It has been held annually by ChosunBiz since 2014 with the goal of 'discovering and widely promoting good domestic alcohol and supporting the formation of a healthy drinking culture.'

This year's event featured 236 companies that showcased a total of 1,008 brands. It is the largest scale among domestic liquor competitions covering comprehensive liquor. Among them, 431 brands received the grand award.

JDI is a newly established importer that launched in January. It imports wine from the Cosetti Winery located in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Cosetti Winery is a winery that has been in operation for over 130 years since 1891.
