LOTTE Group announced on the 1st that it will participate in the '2025 Seoul Mobility Show,' which will be held from the 4th to the 13th of this month at KINTEX in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province. This is the first time that LOTTE is participating in the Mobility Show.

Participating companies include LOTTE Chemical, LOTTE Energy Materials, and LOTTE Innovate, as well as LOTTE Global Logistics, which will comprehensively showcase eco-friendly energy and autonomous driving, among other group mobility businesses.

LOTTE Group has identified mobility, bio and wellness, sustainability, and new life platforms as 'four key growth businesses' and is intensively investing in them.

The Seoul Mobility Show, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is the only international motor show in South Korea recognized by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA). This year, under the theme 'Beyond space, beyond technology' (Mobility Everywhere), 451 companies from 12 countries will participate to showcase mobility products and technologies.

Under the theme 'L.Mobility Panorama,' LOTTE will set up the exhibition hall to provide a comprehensive view of the future mobility value chain based on eco-friendly energy envisioned by LOTTE.

The LOTTE exhibition hall will be divided into three zones: a mobility technology zone displaying key battery materials and actual mobility interior and exterior materials, as well as EVSIS electric vehicle chargers; an autonomous driving zone where visitors can experience delivery robots and future mobility systems; and a hydrogen value chain zone that introduces the production process of electric energy through hydrogen.

In particular, the hydrogen value chain zone will present the hydrogen business, one of the group’s core businesses, making it easy to understand the entire process from production to charging and utilization through various displays including graphics, models, and videos.

LOTTE Innovate will provide an autonomous shuttle boarding experience outside the exhibition hall. The self-driving vehicle operated this time is a 'Type B autonomous vehicle' with no driver's seat, which obtained permission to operate at a speed of 40 km/h in October of last year. The boarding experience will be operated on a round trip between KINTEX Hall 1 and Hall 2, which has a parking lot, and can be used without prior reservation during the event.

LOTTE will also set up a 4m tall giant 'Bellicom' photo zone in the exhibition hall. After taking photos at the photo zone and posting them on their SNS ('social networking service') account, visitors will receive Bellicom balloons on-site.

A LOTTE official noted, 'We are participating in the Seoul Mobility Show for the first time to comprehensively introduce the mobility business, which is one of the group's new growth drivers,' adding, 'We expect that eco-friendly energy-based businesses such as battery materials, electric vehicle charging, and hydrogen energy will receive attention.'
