SPC Group announced on the 31st that it has donated 300 million won for wildfire damage recovery.
The funds delivered through the Korea Red Cross will be used for housing facilities for victims in the Yeongnam region, living expenses support, and assistance for firefighters.
A representative of SPC Group said, “We extend our deepest condolences to those who have suffered significant damage from the sudden disaster and hope for a quick recovery.”
In addition to this donation, SPC Group provided 30,000 breads and bottled water at the wildfire extinguishing sites and temporary shelters in Sancheong and Hadong in Gyeongnam and Uiseong, Andong, and Yeongdeok in Gyeongbuk from the 24th. The franchisee association of its brand Paris Baguette also donated an additional 13,000 breads. SPC plans to further support as needed in consultation with the Korea Red Cross.
