At the '2025 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards' hosted by ChosunBiz, Daehyang Winery's 'Daehyang Meoru Ice Wine' won the grand award in the Korean wine category.

The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is the 12th edition of a representative wine competition in Korea. It has been held annually by ChosunBiz since 2014, with the goal of 'discovering and promoting quality domestic beverages and supporting the formation of a healthy drinking culture.'

This year's event featured 236 companies showcasing a total of 1,008 brands, making it the largest comprehensive liquor competition in the country. Of these, 431 brands received the grand award.

Daehyang Meoru Ice Wine is made by concentrating the sugars of high-quality Meoru grapes and Shine Muscat grapes directly cultivated in Yeongcheon, resulting in a wine with a significantly high sugar content due to the remaining residual sugar after fermentation.

It particularly stands out with the aroma of acacia honey and Shine Muscat. Although it is a dessert wine, it is blended harmoniously with moderate acidity and the sweet aroma and taste of fruits. Chilling it to 6-8°C enhances the enjoyment.
