Nongshim will showcase a garden embodying the corporate philosophy of respecting nature, titled 'The Heart of the Farmer,' at Boramae Park in Seoul in May. To this end, Nongshim signed a memorandum of understanding with the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 25th, to create a corporate partnership garden for the 2025 Seoul International Garden Expo.
Nongshim has had a presence next to Boramae Park for the past 60 years, starting from its early days at the Daebang Factory to its current headquarters, making it a familiar corporation to local residents and park visitors. It decided to establish a corporate partnership garden to contribute to the Seoul International Garden Expo held near its headquarters and to provide a comfortable resting space for citizens visiting the park.
Nongshim plans to create a garden as a work of art reflecting 'The Heart of the Farmer,' which represents making delicious food from ingredients sourced from nature, in the ramen production process. The garden will feature sculptures symbolizing the flow of water, ramen noodles, chopsticks, and cup noodles, allowing visitors to enjoy various designs related to ramen in a natural and relaxing setting.
A Nongshim official noted, 'We plan to prepare thoroughly so that consumers visiting the Nongshim corporate partnership garden at Boramae Park during the Seoul International Garden Expo can enjoy a happy and relaxing experience.' They added, 'We will continue our corporate activities contributing to a sustainable environment and fulfilling our social responsibilities.'
