On that day, Lee noted during the regular shareholders' meeting held at Somerset Palace Seoul Hotel in Jongno-gu, Seoul, "Due to the deteriorating domestic consumer sentiment, many economic experts are predicting that our economy's growth rate forecast will be lowered from initial expectations, and that the current low-growth structure will recover very slowly."
He evaluated that, "By focusing our capabilities on the growth of premium white milk and fermented milk, which have high revenue within the dairy category, and diversifying into plant-based beverages such as soy, almond, and oat, as well as the nutrition business with NEWTREE and MEDIWELL, we achieved revenue growth."
Last year, Maeil Dairies recorded consolidated revenue of 1.8114 trillion won and operating profit of 70.3 billion won.
