BKR achieved sales of 792.7 billion won last year, a 6.4% increase compared to the previous year. During the same period, operating profit rose to about 38.4 billion won, a 60.4% increase from the previous year.

BKR noted that it achieved unprecedented operating profit through enhanced product competitiveness and operational efficiency.

Last year, by introducing the newly revamped 'New Whopper' of Burger King's signature menu item 'Whopper', BKR maintained steady sales as a bestseller and re-released popular products like 'Truffle Mushroom Whopper' as seasonal menu items to drive sales growth in line with the new cycle trend.

Additionally, by expanding and strengthening its Originals and Maximum lineups beyond its main product groups, BKR solidified its position as a leader in beef burgers, maintaining stable sales throughout the year through strategic actions.

Launched in December 2023, Tim Hortons has successfully established itself in the Korean market. Based on the management philosophy of 'Always Fresh', the company enhances food competitiveness by baking donuts fresh every morning and cooking fresh items like melts and sandwiches to order, opening its 15th store last month in Sangam DMC.

BKR representative Lee Dong-hyeon said, "As competition intensifies with the entry of foreign brands into the domestic market and the growth of new and domestic brands, and given the challenging environment due to rising prices and exchange rates increasing the burden of materials and supplies, we were able to achieve meaningful results thanks to the efforts of our employees and franchise owners. Moving forward, both Burger King and Tim Hortons will continue to provide customers with the best taste and experience, collaborate with local communities and partners, and ensure sustainable growth based on mutual prosperity with our franchise owners."
