Lee Seung-joon, CEO of ORION, said at the regular shareholders' meeting for 2025 held at ORION's headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul, on the 26th, "This year will be a year of leap with a sales target of 5 trillion won and an operating profit of 1 trillion won," adding, "We will expand the supply volume of domestic and foreign corporations."
On that day, Lee emphasized that despite the surge in raw material prices due to the global economic slowdown, inflation, and abnormal weather last year, the company surpassed 3 trillion won in sales for the first time since its establishment and exceeded 500 billion won in operating profit.
He also noted, "We plan to expand domestic supply volume by breaking ground on a production, packaging, and logistics integrated center in Jincheon, Chungcheongbuk-do, and we intend to enhance our product supply capability for increasing export volumes to the U.S., China, Australia, and Europe."
Regarding the Chinese subsidiary, he explained, "We plan to expand market share further centered on growth channels such as snack shops and warehouse-type stores." For the Vietnamese subsidiary, he stated, "We will complete the construction of a new factory building within the Hanoi Yen Phong factory in the second half of the year and expand product supply capacity through the addition of rice snack and candy production lines," adding that "We will break ground this year at the Hanoi Plant 3, where a logistics center and packaging material production line will be established, to lay the groundwork for medium- to long-term growth."
Concerning the Russian subsidiary, he remarked, "The factory utilization rate has surpassed 120%, and the supply of Choco Pie products is unable to meet demand," adding, "We will build a new factory building within the Tbeery new factory to increase the supply of Choco Pie products."
