HANSSEM, a comprehensive home interior specialist, continues its efforts to improve revenue. As a result, it has recorded a profit for seven consecutive quarters on a quarterly basis.

According to HANSSEM on the 26th, HANSSEM recorded annual revenue of 1.9 trillion won and an operating profit of 31.2 billion won last year. The operating profit increased 16 times compared to the previous year. This is due to optimizing the supply chain and consistently improving the cost ratio.

The strengthened competitiveness in the consumer-facing institutional sector (B2C) also played a part. Sales of core product categories such as kitchens, storage, and hotel beds performed well. HANSSEM reports that its large-scale promotion "Sempesta," held twice a year, has played a key role in the sales rebound.

The total order amount from Sempesta in the second half of last year was recorded as a 50% increase compared to the first half. The best-selling item was the "Samkids" line, known as the nation's storage cabinet. Sales increased by 71% compared to the previous year.

A representative from HANSSEM noted, "In this year's first half Sempesta, we have expanded the discount items by 70% compared to before, offering over 2,600 pieces of furniture and interior goods at discounts of up to 85%."

HANSSEM plans to focus on strengthening its brand this year. It is revamping HANSSEM Mall to enhance customer experience through digital transformation. Plans are also in place to maximize online shopping convenience and enhance omni-channel sales.

HANSSEM CEO Kim Yoo-jin said, "The strategy of focusing on the essence of the corporation while strengthening both profitability and sustainability is bearing fruit," adding, "We will continue to provide differentiated products and services to become a brand loved and admired by customers."
