Earlier, it has been aggressively expanding its Marbles Ice Cream launched in July last year. Seven-Eleven started with six locations last year and has increased it to more than 40, and has stated plans to expand to a maximum of 100 stores this year.

In this way, Seven-Eleven is trying to lead the convenience store instant food market and establish itself as the representative brand through strategic changes.

First, Seven-Eleven has created a food court-style counter, introducing the concept of a 'Food Station' where customers can see and purchase instant pizzas, roasted sweet potatoes, chicken, and Marbles Ice Cream all at a glance.

It has also announced the introduction of instant smoothies, the top popular menu item at Japan's Seven-Eleven. This instant smoothie machine is actually in use at Seven-Eleven stores in Japan, and it plans to deploy it within the year.

Kim Dong-hyun, the product planner (MD) in charge of Seven-Eleven's instant food team, said, 'We branded the 2-Minute Pizza based on its feature of being cooked in just two minutes,' and added, 'Starting from this brand launch, we will continuously develop and roll out differentiated instant food to improve shopping satisfaction for customers visiting our stores by utilizing our excellent speed oven, which will lead to an increase in customer numbers and boost franchise sales.'
