Lotte Mulsan announced on the 21st that it will join the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) global lights out campaign "2025 Earth Hour" by turning off the lights at Lotte World Tower for 60 minutes on the night of the 22nd.
Earth Hour is a global conservation campaign that aims to raise awareness of the importance of climate change and nature preservation by turning off unnecessary lights for one hour from 8:30 p.m. on the last Saturday of March each year.
It started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia, and now more than 190 countries' major landmarks participate.
Lotte World Tower has participated in the Earth Hour campaign every year since 2019. This year, about 50 companies, including the operators of Lotte World Tower and Lotte Mall, and tenant companies, have joined together.
For 30 minutes before and after the lights out on the 22nd, the Lotte World Tower media façade will broadcast content announcing the start of Earth Hour. It will display the number "60" to indicate the lights out on the green-colored exterior wall that represents the blue planet.
