LOTTE Wellfood announced on the 12th that it will not sell its Yeongdeungpo factory in Yangpyeong-dong, Seoul, to LOTTE Engineering & Construction.
LOTTE Wellfood noted, "So far, we have considered various options regarding the operation of the Yeongdeungpo factory, but we are not pursuing the sale to LOTTE Engineering & Construction in light of various management environments both inside and outside the corporation."
LOTTE Wellfood has maintained its position that there has been no confirmation since reports emerged in 2023 about selling the Yeongdeungpo factory site to LOTTE Engineering & Construction.
