Actor Kim Soo-hyun is facing scrutiny after allegations emerged that he was in a romantic relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron. Although Kim Soo-hyun's representatives stated, ``There is no truth to this and we will take legal action,'' they remain vigilant about how public opinion may shift.
On the 12th, according to the distribution industry, the vegan beauty brand ``Dinto'' has put Kim Soo-hyun's modeling schedule on hold. An Ji-hye, the representative managing Dinto, noted, ``All employees have been verifying the facts and discussing how to respond,'' adding, ``All scheduled plans related to the model are currently on hold.'' It is reported that Kim Soo-hyun's photos have been removed from K-Village, the official website of K2 Korea Group, and its official Instagram.
Other distribution companies utilizing Kim Soo-hyun as a model are also in a quandary. Kim Soo-hyun is currently modeling for over ten brands, including Eider (K2 Korea Group), Shabu All Day, Dinto, Homeplus, Shinhan Bank, Tous Les Jours, Cuckoo, Prada, and Jo Malone London. A source from the distribution industry stated, ``We plan to observe the trends in public opinion before deciding whether to halt advertisements or how to modify our remaining plans.''
This situation arose after the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute released photos received from Kim Sae-ron's family. The family of Kim Sae-ron, along with Garosero Research Institute, claimed that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a relationship with Kim Sae-ron since November 2015, when she was a minor, for six years. In response, Kim Soo-hyun's representatives maintain that this is not true.
