Food companies that had halted deliveries to Homeplus, which has entered corporate rehabilitation proceedings, have decided to resume deliveries one after another.
On the 11th, Paldo said, "We will resume deliveries to Homeplus starting today," adding, "The volume is not large, and the supply of products may fluctuate based on discussions between the two companies."
Late in the afternoon the previous day, Dongsuh also expressed its intention to resume deliveries to Homeplus. A representative from Dongsuh stated, "Negotiations with Homeplus have been completed, and we have decided to resume deliveries," and added, "We will start deliveries again on the 12th." Dongsuh and Paldo had suspended deliveries to Homeplus on the 6th.
LOTTE Chilsung Beverage is continuing discussions with Homeplus to normalize deliveries. Among major food companies, OTOKI, LOTTE Wellfood, and Samyang Foods have sequentially resumed deliveries to Homeplus since the 7th.
Homeplus stated in a statement the previous day, "We will prioritize payments for small businesses, small merchants, and labor cost bonds, and we plan to partition the repayment of corporate bonds," and noted, "By the 14th, we will establish a detailed payment plan and communicate it specifically to each partner company."
