On the 6th, Homeplus announced that it has resumed payments on general trade debts that had been temporarily suspended due to the commencement of corporate rehabilitation procedures.
On the 4th, the Seoul Rehabilitation Court decided to commence corporate rehabilitation procedures for Homeplus, temporarily halting all payments on debts.
Homeplus stated, "As of the 6th, the available cash balance is 309 billion won, and the net cash inflow from business activities is expected to be around 300 billion won in March, meaning total available funds will exceed 600 billion won, so there is no issue with paying general trade debts."
It then noted, "Starting today, we have resumed payments on general trade debts and plan to fully repay them in sequence."
According to the rehabilitation procedures, all general trade debts with partner companies will be fully repaid, and all transactions occurring after the commencement decision will be settled normally.
A Homeplus official said, "Everyone will work together to complete the rehabilitation process as quickly as possible."
