On the 27th, Lotte Group announced that its think tank, Lotte Future Strategy Institute, will appoint Seo Chang-woo as the new CEO.
Born in 1976, Seo Chang-woo, the new CEO, is an expert who has gained experience in business portfolio transformation and strategic consulting after working at Deloitte Consulting and Kearney, as well as serving as the head of strategy at Hanwha Aerospace, head of strategic planning at Hanwha Vision, and president of its U.S. corporation.
CEO Seo will oversee the Lotte Future Strategy Institute, which establishes the long-term management strategy of Lotte Group, and is expected to propose various solutions that align with changes in the global business environment. At the same time, he plans to strengthen the role of providing knowledge and insights necessary for discovering and establishing new future growth engines for Lotte Group.
