The CJ Foodville bakery brand Tous Les Jours will raise the prices of approximately 110 types of bread and cakes by an average of about 5% starting next month.
According to CJ Foodville on the 25th, Tous Les Jours will increase the price of its daily milk bread from 3,500 won to 3,600 won starting on the 1st of next month. Additionally, the price of red bean bread will rise from 1,800 won to 1,900 won. The autumn leaf sausage bread will go from 2,600 won to 2,700 won, and the fluffy morning roll will be raised from 3,600 won to 3,700 won.
Among the cakes, the price of the soft sweet potato latte cake will increase from 30,000 won to 31,000 won.
A CJ Foodville official noted, "Due to an increase in prices of major materials and supplies and various expenses, it was unavoidable to raise prices."
In the bakery and confectionery industry, there has been a trend of price increases since the beginning of this year. The SPC Group bakery brand Paris Baguette raised the prices of 96 types of bread and 25 types of cakes by an average of 5.9% on the 10th.
