Emart announced on the 21st that it will reveal its representative product, "Whale-it Item," a week ahead of the "Whale-it Festa Spring Magic Sale" on March.
The Whale-it Festa is a large-scale discount event held year-round, based on strong price investments and differentiated products.
Emart has unveiled the main event products in advance to generate excitement and allow customers to plan their shopping ahead.
The Whale-it Festa Spring Magic Sale will take place from 28th to March 3rd. It will showcase over 20 types of special discount products "Whale-it Item" and extremely low prices "E(%) pricing" by category.
A customer participation event has also been prepared. From the 24th to March 3rd, if customers leave comments on the advertisements for the Whale-it video on the Emart app, they will have a chance to win prizes, including a Whale-it gold bar (10 don, 1 winner), e-money (100,000 points, 100 winners), and Whale-it exchange coupons (1,000 winners).
The representative Whale-it Items for March include domestic premium special breeds "Geumhandon" and "Woori Heukdon" pork belly and neck meat. Seasonal fruits such as melon and orange will also be offered at prices 20-30% lower than around the same time last year. This year, 150,000 units of the "Seongju Honey Melon" have been prepared for the first harvest. The "Nable Orange" price was lowered through prior consultations with American exporters a month ago.
Abalone will be purchased in bulk at approximately 20 tons, which is the regular supply for three weeks, and sold at half the previous price.
Traders have also developed 10 types of Whale-it Items to participate in this event, selling items like seasoned beef bulgogi and cockle salad at lower prices.
