Shinsegae Group's online shopping mall SSG.com announced on the 19th that it will expand the same-day delivery area for Emart's warehouse discount store Trader's wholesale club products to the metropolitan area.
Starting from the 20th, customers in the metropolitan area can receive their orders on the same day if placed by 10 a.m. Orders placed after 10 a.m. will be delivered on a designated date.
Same-day delivery products also include perishable and frozen items that were previously available for SSG delivery only near stores.
The purchase amount for free shipping will be lowered from 120,000 won to 90,000 won.
SSG.com explained that this expansion of service areas is due to the conversion of metropolitan Trader's delivery to CJ Logistics' 'O-NE.'
SSG.com is offering a Trader's free shipping coupon for purchases over 60,000 won until the 16th of next month. Ten popular Trader's items will also be sold at special prices.
A representative from SSG.com noted, 'We will continuously enhance our delivery competitiveness to enable convenient purchasing of large-volume products that are in high demand during this period of high prices.'
