On the 17th, Samlip announced the launch of its "lunch bread" series, which offers a quick and hearty meal for 1,900 won. This product targets the high inflation era, where "lunchflation"—a blend of "lunch" and "inflation"—has become a topic of discussion.
The lunch bread was released in sizes ranging from 15 to 19 cm. It features a high egg-content brioche bread, along with a variety of popular ingredients such as tomato, corn mayo, and onion, allowing choices based on personal preference. It is ready to eat immediately and can be enjoyed even more deliciously when heated in the microwave for just 20 seconds.
The lunch bread comes in four varieties: "tomato pizza bread" with a tangy tomato sauce on a soft brioche bun, "corn mayo big bread" enhanced with creamy mayo sauce and sweet corn for added texture, "onion cheese bread" topped with sweet onion sauce and pizza cheese, and "ham pokki big bread" featuring spicy Chinese garlic sauce with smoked ham.
