Gmarket, an e-commerce platform affiliated with Shinsegae Group, announced on the 24th that it has signed a business partnership agreement with Moltail, a platform specialized in overseas direct purchases.
Under the agreement, Gmarket plans to increase transactions for Moltail products within its platform and enhance marketing efforts to promote the sales of these products. There are plans to open a dedicated section within Moltail by the end of the year.
With 12 global logistics centers in eight countries, Moltail aims to diversify the overseas direct purchase products showcased on Gmarket.
Gmarket expects that this partnership will expand the supply chain of overseas direct purchase products while also enhancing price competitiveness.
Lee Min-kyu, head of the sales division at Gmarket, said, "We will focus on offering differentiated benefits, such as showcasing a variety of overseas direct purchase products at more reasonable prices that Moltail possesses around the world."
Kim Hae-dong, CEO of Moltail, noted, "We will further strengthen collaboration with Gmarket in the overseas direct purchase sector."
