Following Starbucks and Paul Bassett, Hollys Coffee has also raised its prices.
According to the industry on the 24th, Hollys Coffee increased the prices of some products by 200 to 300 won that day. It has been 7 months since the prices were raised in June of last year.
Hollys Coffee did not inform consumers of this price increase. The company cited rising costs of materials and supplies as the reason for the price adjustment.
On the same day, Starbucks Korea also raised the prices of 22 types of Tall (355 mL) beverages by up to 300 won. As a result, the price of a Tall-sized café Americano was adjusted from 4,500 won to 4,700 won. Starbucks had previously raised prices for Grande (473 mL) and Venti (591 mL) beverages last August, and in November of last year, it increased prices for iced beverages other than coffee.
Paul Bassett, operated by Maeil Dairies' affiliated company MZ Seed, also raised its prices by 200 to 400 won starting the previous day (23rd). Coffee Bean raised the price of Café Mocha and other beverages by 200 won in December of last year.
