Lotte Engineering & Construction announced on the 23rd that it will hold various events at Lotte World Tower and Mall in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
From the 27th to the 30th, the Lotte World Aquarium will feature an underwater performance where aquarists dressed in hanbok perform a deep bow in the main tank. Additionally, from the 28th to the 2nd of next month, there will be an event called 'on the way to a health checkup,' where baby penguins dressed in a CAPE ride strollers through the sea lion tank and the main tank.
Fusion traditional Korean music busking will take place at the Seoul Sky observation deck in Lotte World Tower. On the 29th and 30th at 6 p.m., 'Nangchang Nangchang Hunkitaka,' a group featuring a vocalist and a haegeum player, and 'Lara Ensemble,' a group aiming to popularize traditional Korean music by incorporating classical instruments and drums, will each perform on one day.
Signiel Seoul has launched a package called 'A Memorable Sunrise & Sunset' for the New Year, which allows guests to view sunrises and sunsets from the country's highest hotel rooms. The 'Sunrise' package includes an east-facing room and in-room dining breakfast for two. The 'Sunset' package offers a west-facing room, a bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne, chocolates, and more.

LOTTE HIMART will hold a discount event focusing on popular items for Lunar New Year gifts until the 31st, and Lotte Duty-Free's downtown store will offer LDF PAY benefits of up to 1.24 million won on weekdays and up to 1.45 million won on weekends, depending on the payment method, until the 2nd of next month.
Meanwhile, during the Lunar New Year holiday, Lotte World Tower and Mall will operate normally from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. except for some stores. On the 29th, the actual day of the holiday, it will open at noon. Lotte Mart is expected to open at 11 a.m. on the holiday, with normal operations at other times.
Lotte Museum and Avenue L will be closed for two days starting on the 28th. Lotte Concert Hall will also be closed from the 28th to the 30th.
