APR announced on the 23rd that as of December last year, cumulative global sales of the Ageal beauty device exceeded 3 million units. This milestone was achieved in about 45 months after the launch of the first beauty device, DermaEMS, in March 2021.
The achievement of surpassing 3 million units in sales came just 8 months after it exceeded 2 million units in April last year. In comparison, it took 11 months to reach from 1 million to 2 million units, indicating a faster sales pace.
The proportion of overseas sales among total sales reached approximately 47%. The United States accounted for about 18% of total cumulative sales, leading the overseas market.
In the future, APR plans to continuously expand the sales volume of beauty devices through active market development both domestically and internationally. To achieve this, it intends to actively participate in global exhibitions like the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to emphasize the synergy effect between Mediheal cosmetics and Ageal beauty devices, and strengthen its sales organization to promote sales through various channels, including B2B transactions.
An APR representative noted, "Thanks to the rising popularity of K-beauty and Ageal worldwide, we were able to quickly achieve the milestone of surpassing 3 million units. We will continue to lead the home beauty device market based on innovative products that meet consumer demands."
