CJ Olive Young (hereinafter referred to as Olive Young) announced on the 21st that it has introduced an 'electronic label-NFC-based product exploration service' that connects to the online store's product detail page when a smartphone is held up to the in-store electronic label.
Through this, customers will now be able to view product details and reviews instantly with just one smartphone tagging.
Olive Young expects this service to generate synergy with online store services such as 'color comparison' and 'Olive Young store.' If customers find it difficult to compare the colors of cosmetic products in-store, they can use the 'color comparison' service after tagging their smartphone, allowing them to compare up to four colors at a glance. When the desired product is out of stock at the store, customers can use the 'Olive Young store' service to check the stock of nearby stores in real-time and make a purchase.
The electronic label-NFC-based product exploration service has been implemented in all stores where electronic labels have been applied, including the innovative store 'Olive Young N Seongsu' that opened in November last year. It can be used with smartphones that have the Olive Young online mall application installed.
An Olive Young official noted, 'This service is a groundbreaking attempt to easily utilize the various features of the online store in offline stores, greatly enhancing the omnichannel shopping experience,' adding, 'Based on this, we will continue to expand various services to provide a better shopping environment for customers.'
