The pet food brand Royal Canin announced that it will introduce the 'Poodle Adult 8+', which helps in the healthy aging management of poodles in their middle age, aged 8 years and older, among its breed-specific tailored nutrition lineup.
Royal Canin's breed-specific food offers a scientific tailored nutrition solution that varies nutrients according to the size and shape of the dog's breed jaw, chewing patterns, preferred kibble texture, as well as health sensitivities.
In particular, this new product is designed differently from existing poodle puppy or other adult dog products, based on the physical changes of poodles entering middle age at 8 years and older. It has adjusted the protein content and reduced the sodium content.
Additionally, it contains taurine to support healthy heart function. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) and protein are also included to keep the poodle's unique curly coat healthy.
