Comprehensive liquor company Campari Korea announced on the 15th that the liqueur brand Campari achieved first place as the 'Best Selling Brand' and first place as the 'Top Trending Brand' in this year's announcement by the global liquor magazine Drinks International.
Drinks International is a globally renowned liquor magazine, famous for evaluating and ranking top brands in various liquor categories each year.
Campari has held the title of the most sold brand in the liqueur category for nine consecutive years since 2016. Additionally, this year, it was also recognized as the top trending brand, which means it has been acknowledged as the brand most noticed and loved by bartenders and consumers worldwide, according to Campari Korea.
In Italy, Campari is a light drink typically enjoyed as an aperitivo. An aperitivo is a low-alcohol beverage consumed with light appetizers before a proper meal, usually around 5 to 8 p.m. in restaurants or bars.
Regarded as a representative aperitivo, Campari is made by aging a blend of over 60 herbs, spices, roots, fruit peels, and tree bark that has been passed down through secret recipes.
According to Drinks International, last year, the Campari-based cocktail Negroni was ranked as the best-selling classic cocktail in the world.
The Campari Group hosts the Negroni Week event annually in various countries simultaneously, donating a portion of the sales from Negroni to charities.
Campari Korea said, 'This donation is to show the corporations' social responsibility while leading the mixology trend. We hope you find vitality in your weary daily life through the pleasant bitter taste of Campari.'
